This simple and easy recipe is my families favorite way to eat pork chops. I like them because not only are they tasty, but they're a food I can cook and have on the table in less than 30 minutes. What's not to love?
Pan Fried Breaded Pork Chops
6 thin cut pork chops
1 cup flour (Use 1/2 flour/half panko crumbs for a crispier coating)
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Fresh ground black pepper to taste
1/4 to 1/3 cup pure olive oil
Rinse pork chops and set aside.
Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
Dredge both sides of the pork chops in the flour mixture, and set aside on a plate.
Heat oil over medium heat in a large pan. (Use enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan, adding more if nessasary as you cook each batch of chops)
Fry pork chops, 2 at a time for 4 to 5 minutes on the first side, then 3 to 4 minutes on the other side. (Thicker chops will take longer to cook. Just make sure no pink remains)
Move finished chops to a plate, cover with foil, and continue cooking the remaining pork chops.
